WAVERLY, Ia. – Calvin had a record-setting Saturday at the Wartburg Late Qualifier Invitational.
Senior
Mia DeJonge (Bellevue, Wash./Bellevue Christian HS) reset her own school record in the 60 meter hurdles twice on Saturday. DeJonge ran 8.90 in the prelims of the race, breaking her previous record of 8.92 set last weekend at the MIAA Indoor Championships. She then ran 8.89 to place second in the championship finals, lowering the record again and placing her 32
nd on the NCAA III performance list. Sophomore
Cadence Drougal (Rockford, Mich./Rockford HS) had a scintillating Saturday, running 9.07 in the prelims before running a career-best time of 8.94 in the championship finals for fourth place. Freshman
Ava Sanchez-Mustapha (Okemos, Mich./Lansing Christian HS) ran 9.15 in the prelims before placing sixth in the championship finals in a time of 9.20.

Peyton Ludwig (Ada, Mich./Forest Hills Central HS) took seventh with a season-best time of 3:57.43.

Lola Davey (Cedar Springs, Mich./Rockford HS) ran the 400 meter dash and placed 19
th (1:01.46).
In the mile run, junior
Hailey Erickson (Arlington Heights, Ill./Prospect HS) was 17
th (5:09.63) and freshman
Ayla Holben 23
rd (5:16.47).
Senior
Katie Seinen (Jenison, Mich./Unity Christian HS) competed in the pole vault, taking fifth with a vault of 10-8 1/4.Â
