The Calvin University men's 4x400 meter relay team won MIAA Track Athletes of the Week for men's outdoor track and field on Monday.
 
The quartet of Connor Lubberts (Jenison, Mich./Jenison), Benjamin Habers (Lake Ann, Mich./Traverse City West), Bob Horton (Rockford, Mich./Rockford) and Koby VanderWoude (Caledonia, Mich./Caledonia) earned the honor thanks to their performance at the Thrills in the Hills invite at Emory University over the weekend.
 
At the meet, the relay recorded a time of 3:17.09, which ranks 11th in NCAA III this season and leads the MIAA by 13.5 seconds.
 
Calvin track and field is set to return to action this weekend when it competes at Grand Valley State University on Friday and Saturday.
