Calvin University senior men's basketball player
Jalen Overway was named Third Team All-America by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on Wednesday.

Overway (Holland, Mich./Holland Christian) received the honor after averaging 23.1 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.0 blocks per game on 61.7 percent shooting from the field to set career highs in all five statistical categories this season after missing the 2024-25 season due to injury.

The NABC honor joins other accolades for Overway this season, including his third consecutive MIAA Most Valuable Player award, his third straight All-MIAA First Team honor, D3hoops.com Region VII Co-Player of the Year and First Team All-Region, and NABC First Team All-District.

This marks the third time in his career that Overway has been named an NABC All-American. He previously earned the honor following his freshman (Third Team) and sophomore (First Team) seasons.

A 2023-24 D3hoops.com First Team All-American, Overway earned First Team All-Region from D3hoops.com three times and was twice named Player of the Year in the region by that website. Following his 2022-23 freshman season, Overway was named D3hoops.com National Rookie of the Year by D3hoops.com

Overway ranks seventh in Calvin men's basketball program history in career points (1,717) and fifth in career rebounds (868). He also ranks 10th in both career assists (216) and career blocks (88).

Calvin men's basketball finished the 2025-26 season with a 19-8 record overall and went 10-4 in MIAA play, good for third place in the final conference standings.
