Led by head coach Dan Gelderloos, the Calvin men's swimming and diving team is sending seven individuals to the NCAA III Championships scheduled to take place March 18-21 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Scheduled to represent the Knights are seniors Madi McNearney, Meghan Bengelink and Elyse Radawski, juniors Emma Merkel and Elise Bajwa and sophomores Zoe Poe and Ella Andrews.

MADI MCNEARNEY (Riverside, Mo./Park Hill South HS)

McNearney is making her first trip to the NCAA III Championships. She will compete in Calvin's 200 medley relay team that is seeded 12^th (1:42.72).

MEGHAN BENGELINK (Holland, Mich./Holland Christian HS)

Bengelink is making her fourth straight trip to the NCAA III Championships. She will compete in the 50 freestyle where she is seeded 33^rd (23.45). She will also compete on Calvin's 200 freestyle relay (seeded 10^th, 1:33.48), 400 freestyle relay (seeded 21^st, 3:28.14), 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay (seeded 23^rd, 3:49.05).  

ELYSE RADAWSKI (Jenison, Mich./Jenison HS)

Radawski is making her first trip to the NCAA III Championships. She will compete in the 200 freestyle relay, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay and potentially the 400 freestyle relay.

EMMA MERKEL (Grandville, Mich./Grandville HS)

Merkel is making her third straight trip to the NCAA III Championships. She will compete in the 100 freestyle where she is seeded 42^nd (51.47), the 200 freestyle where she is seeded ninth (1:50.04) and the 200 backstroke where she is seeded 21^st (2:01.26). She is also scheduled to compete in four of Calvin's five relays with the relay selection yet to be fully determined according to the coaching staff.

ELISE BAJWA (Bethesda, Md./Brookewood School)

Bajwa is making her third straight trip to the NCAA III Championships. She will compete in the 100 breaststroke where she is seeded…the 200 breaststroke where she is seeded 12^th (1:02.64) and the 50 freestyle where she is seeded 54^th (24.11). She will also swim in the 200 and 400 medley relays and potentially in the freestyle relays as well according to the Calvin coaching staff.

ZOE POE (Bridgeville, Pa./South Fayette Twp.)

Poe is making her second straight trip to the NCAA III Championships. She will compete in the 500 freestyle (24^th, 4:59.19),  1650 freestyle (seeded 10^th, 17:04.58) and 200 butterfly (seeded 43^rd, 2:11.53) and potentially in the 800 freestyle relay.

ELLA ANDREWS (Carmel, Ind./Heritage Christian School)

Andrews is making her first trip to the NCAA III Championships. She will compete in the 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay and potentially in the 800 freestyle relay as well.
