Calvin University junior punter Logan Nap was named MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week for football on Monday.

Nap (Lawton, Mich./Lawton) won the award for his strong performance as a punter in the Knights' 51-20 win at Trine University on October 31.

In the win, Nap punted four times for 194 yards and put two punts inside the Thunder 20-yard line. One of those punts went 67 yards, setting a new Calvin record for the longest punt in program history.

This season, Nap has punted 14 times for an average of 40.57 yards, with five of those punts pinning opponents inside their own 20-yard line.

Calvin football will return to action on Saturday, November 7, when it hosts Hope College in a battle of 8-0 teams at Knight Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
