Nolan Coil were each named All-MIAA by the conference in its postseason awards announcement on Thursday.

Bonemer (Okemos, Mich./Okemos) and Brown (Caledonia, Mich./Caledonia) were named All-MIAA First Team, while Coil (Valparaiso, Ind./Valparaiso) was named All-MIAA Second Team.

The three seniors helped the Knights to a 23-16 regular season and a second-place finish in the MIAA this season thanks to a 15-6 conference record.

Calvin entered yesterday's MIAA Tournament as the number-two seed and dropped its opening game against Alma College. It will play tournament host Adrian College today at 3:00 PM in an elimination game.

Gabe Bonemer
Â
Bonemer entered the 2025 season after missing all of 2024 due to injury and made the most of his return season. Bonemer started 38 games at second base and led the Knights with a .352 batting average, 31 runs scored and three triples this season. He also hit nine doubles and stole 11 bases in 13 opportunities. On defense, Bonemer was stellar up the middle and was part of 27 turned double plays for Calvin this season.

In conference play, Bonemer hit .341 with six doubles, two triples and nine runs batted in (RBI).

Ryan Brown
Â
Brown started 34 games in the outfield for the Knights and tied for the team lead with 10 doubles while leading the team with 17 stolen bases. Hitting at the top of the order with Bonemer throughout the season, Brown scored 28 runs and added one triple and two home runs. In MIAA play, Brown ranked third in the MIAA with a .373 batting average and tied for third with nine doubles.

This season, Brown has moved himself into fourth place in program history with 117 career runs scored and fifth place with 37 career stolen bases.

Nolan Coil
Â
After a breakout junior season on the mound, Coil served as the ace of the Knights' pitching staff as a senior and holds a record of 6-3 with a 2.66 earned run average (ERA). He leads the Knights this season in wins, ERA, innings pitched (67.2) and strikeouts (62). In MIAA play, Coil opened league play with 22 consecutive shutout innings and finished the conference season 4-1 with a 1.8 ERA and 31 strikeouts in 40.0 innings. Coil pitched at least six innings without allowing a run in four of his six MIAA starts.

Coil's 62 strikeouts and 67.2 innings are both the sixth-best single-season total in program history in those categories. His 135 strikeouts rank seventh in program history.
