OLIVET, Mich. - Today the Calvin men's volleyball team picked up a win on the road against Olivet when they took down the Comets in four sets to improve to a 8-15 overall record.
The Knight came out strong when they took the first two sets with scores of 25-18 and 25-13. The Comets fought back in the third set as they bettered the Knights 33-31 before Calvin finished off the match by taking the fourth set 25-20.
Calvin posted a .333 hitting percentage this evening while their best performance came in the second set when they recorded a .696.
Senior
Gabriel Laughlin (Grand Rapids, Mich./West Michigan Aviation Academy) led the way for Calvin with sixteen kills and an impressive .560 hitting percentage while sophomore
Nick Bultje (Byron Center, Mich./South Christian) recorded a .409 hitting percentage and chipped in ten kills.

Bryce Broekhuizen (Kalamazoo, Mich./Kalamazoo Christian) finished his night with nine kills while sophomore
Brady Gudauskas (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) had nine kills.
Freshman setter
Ezekiel Jalan (Oconomowoc, Wis./Arrowhead) led the Knights in assists with twenty-eight and digs with ten.
