The United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association has named its 2024 All-Academic team and individual recipients in men's cross country and the Calvin men's cross country team has received accolades on both counts.

Nicole Kramer, the Calvin men's team posted a team cumulative grade point average this past fall of 3.538 after posting a 3.449 GPA the year before. In order to receive the award, teams must post a minimum team GPA of 3.10 on a 4.0 scale.
Individually, Calvin had two individuals receive USTFCCCA All-Academic honors. Those four individuals are seniors Â
Luke Witvliet (Grandville, Mich./Calvin Christian HS) and
Caleb Gaffner (Hudsonville, Mich../Unity Christian HS).
Witvliet is majoring in biochemistry while Gaffner is majoring in mechanical engineering.
Individuals needed to have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or greater on a 4.0 scale through the most-recent semester and placed in the top 25 percent at their respective NCAA III Regional Championships.
Both of Calvin's individuals that received USTFCCCA All-Academic honors competed at the NCAA III Championships. The Knights took 32nd at the NCAA III Championships, earning a spot at the national meet for the 31st consecutive year.
