Calvin University junior Jalen Overway was named MIAA Player of the Week for men's basketball on Monday.
 
Overway (Holland, Mich./Holland Christian) won the honor for his performance in the Knights' 85-70 win over Colorado College at Van Noord Arena on Saturday, November 15.
 
In the 15-point win, Overway scored 30 points on 9-14 shooting to go with 10 rebounds and a career-high eight assists.
 
This season, Overway is averaging 27.7 points per game on 61.8 percent shooting to go with 10.3 rebounds per game.
 
This marks the sixth time Overway has earned MIAA Player of the Week honors in his career.
 
The 12th-ranked Calvin men's basketball team is 2-1 to start the season and will return to action on Saturday, November 22, when it hosts UW-Stout in a game scheduled to tip off at 3:00 PM at Van Noord Arena.
