The Calvin men's basketball team is ranked 12th in the D3hoops.com Top 25 preseason poll.
The poll was released Wednesday afternoon. Calvin is coming off a superb 2024-25 campaign that saw the Knights finish 21-7 overall, win the MIAA regular season at 14-0 and claim the MIAA Tournament crown. Â Calvin also reached the NCAA III Tournament for the third time in four years. The Knights finished 20th in the final 2024-25 D3hoops.com Top 25 poll released at the conclusion of the season.
Calvin returns three starters from its 2024-25 team in seniors
Luka Ressler,
Brady Ewing and
Trevin Winkle. The Knights also return two-time D3hoops.com All-American
Jalen Overway who missed the 2024-25 season with an injury. In addition, juniors
Parker Swartz and
Jordan Scott have starting experience.
Led by head coachÂ
Bill Sall, the Knights are scheduled to open their season on November 7 at Denison. Calvin's home opener is slated for November 15 when it hosts Colorado College.
