The Calvin-Hope women's soccer rivalry is set to renew on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Calvin Soccer Stadium.
Calvin will enter the game ranked 66
th in the NCAA Division III National Power Index while Hope is ranked 23
rd.

Calvin will carry an overall record of 8-4-0 into the match while Hope is currently 9-2-1. Both teams are 4-0-0 in league play heading into Wednesday's contest.
A year ago, the two rivals met twice with Calvin winning 2-0 in the regular season matchup in mid-October and then winning 4-0 in the MIAA Tournament finals in early November.
Wednesday's match will be the 69
th meeting between the two rivals in a series that dates back to 1988 and sees Calvin holding a 41-19-8 series edge. The last 12 matchups have been tight with Calvin holding a 6-3-3 series edge during that stretch.
Calvin is under the direction of head coachÂ
Emily Ottenhoff who is in her eighth season as head coach. She has a carer won-loss record of 94-29-13 (.723) that includes MIAA regular season titles in 2021 (spring and fall), 2022, 2023 and 2024. She has led Calvin to four MIAA Tournament titles (2021 spring, 2022, 2023 & 2024) and NCAA III Tournament trips in 2021 (fall), 2022, 2023 & 2024 with the Knights advancing to the Round of 16 of the NCAA III Tournament in 2023. Ottenhoff is a 2010 Calvin graduate. She was an All-American midfielder for the Knights in 2009 and was part of national quarterfinalist teams in 2006 and 2009. She was also a four-year member of the Calvin women's basketball program.
Calvin features a balanced scoring attack with seven different Knights scoring two goals or more this fall. Senior

Mikaela Waroway lead the Knights in scoring with 11 points apiece. McCarthy has four goals and three assists while Waroway has five goals and one assist. Junior
Avery Mrozinski is next with three goals, one assist and seven points. Freshman

Kiah Nichols has two goals and four points. The Calvin defense is backstopped by senior goalkeeperÂ
Kalex Dodge. She has 49 saves and a 0.81 goals-against-average on the year.
Hope is under the direction of second-year head coach Holly Van Noord who spent the previous three seasons as an assistant coach with the Hope women's soccer program. She has also served as the varsity girls soccer coach at Hudsonville High School. She was a Division I goalkeeper at Liberty University where she was a four-year member of the program. She was a two-time Big South Conference Defensive Player of the Year at Liberty (2014 &2016).
Hope senior Lina Rea leads the Flying Dutch attack with seven goals, two assists and 16 points. Senior back Olivia Dieppa has six goals, one assist and 13 points. Eight Hope players have two goals or more. Ainsley Harris has four goals, three assists and 11 points. Halle Bernard has three goals, four assists and 10 points. Junior Clara Feenstra has been the primary goalkeeper for Hope, recording 43 saves and a goals-against-average of 1.02.
