COACHES COMMENT: "We knew we would have to play a half-field game but Hope did a great job and got us into a bit of a track meet in the first half," said Calvin head coach
Dave Hoger. "I thought we adjusted well in the second half. We executed well on man-up (opportunities) and had some great toughness plays and goals. We're obviously disappointed to lose but excited with our improvement as a team. We're looking forward to getting back to work and playing Kalamazoo on Saturday and building for the rest of the season."
NEXT UP: Calvin will host Kalamazoo on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Zuidema Field.
