OLIVET, Mich. - Today the Calvin men's tennis team took on the Comets from The University of Olivet in a MIAA matchup where they claimed a 9-0 victory.

Calvin (10-2, 2-0)Â started the match strong with a sweep of all three doubles contests to take a quick 3-0 lead.

The one-doubles team of
Harrison Sindelar (Westfield, Ind./Westfield) and
Felipe Sartori (Cotia, Brazil/Colegio Giusto Zonzini) won 8-1, followed by an 8-0 win by the number-two team of
Adam Zentner (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston) and
Ben Timmermans (Grandville, Mich./Unity Christian). The three-doubles team of James Vanderark (Leawood, Kan./Kansas City Christian) and
Troy Dozeman (Bradenton, Fla./Homeschool) won 8-2 to complete the sweep.

Calvin continued their dominance into the singles matches when number-one single Sartori (6-3, 6-1) and number-two singles
Emmanuel Henao Estrada (Medellín, Columbia/Escuela Normal Superior "La Merced") (6-0, 6-1) each picked up wins.

In the three-singles match
Noah Yi (Fullerton, Calif./Valencia) handled his opponent (6-1, 6-1) while Zentner also claimed another victory for the Knights in four-singles (6-0, 6-0). Calvin rounded out their day when both Timmermans (6-1, 6-1) and Dozeman (6-1, 6-1) both won their matches to claim the dominate 9-0 victory.
