The Knights will play the winner of a first round game scheduled for Tuesday night between Albion (10-15) and Hope (19-6). The Friday night semifinal game between Calvin and the Albion/Hope winner is set for 5:30 p.m.

Trine (22-3) is the top seed for the tournament and will host the semifinals and championship game this weekend. Trine will face the winner of a first round game between Adrian (7-18) and Alma (11-14) scheduled for Tuesday night. The second semifinal game on Friday between Trine and the Adrian/Alma winner is set for 7:30 p.m. at the MTI Center.

The Friday semifinal winners will play in the MIAA Tournament Championship final Saturday at the MTI Center at 7:30 p.m. with the winner receiving the league's automatic bid to the upcoming NCAA III Tournament.

Calvin was picked to win the 2024 MIAA regular season title in the league's preseason coaches' poll and the Knights earned a share of their second straight league title, finishing 12-2 in league play to match Trine for the top spot. Trine earned the top seed for the league tournament based on a tiebreaker edge due to the Thunder gaining a regular season sweep of third place Hope while Calvin went 1-1 against the Flying Dutchmen.

Under the direction of head coach Bill Sall, Calvin has hit the 20-win plateau for the third straight year and is currently ranked 10^th in the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll.

The Knights are 54-18 all-time in MIAA Tournament play and have won the tournament 12 times.
