The 137th meeting between Calvin and Hope in women's basketball is set to take place Saturday at 3 p.m. inside Calvin's Van Noord Arena.
The matchup will feature a pair of MIAA rivals with lengthy win streaks. Calvin will carry a nine-game win streak into Saturday's matchup while Hope will bring a 14-game win streak into the game.
Calvin comes in at 14-5 overall and in second place in the MIAA standings with an 8-2 record. Ranked fifth in one national poll and seventh in another, Hope is 18-1 overall and atop the MIAA standings with a 10-0 conference record.
Hope has won 17 consecutive meetings against Calvin in women's basketball. The Knights still lead the all-time series 71-65. The two rivals met previously back on December 9 at Hope's DeVos Fieldhouse with the Flying Dutch defeating the Knights 52-32.
Calvin is coming off a 63-51 win at Trine on Wednesday night which allowed the Knights to snap a 19-game losing streak against the Thunder.
