ADA, Oh. – Calvin capped off weekend competition at the Ohio Northern Invitational with a 1-0 victory over OAC foe Wilmington College Saturday afternoon.

The Knights improve to 5-0-0 on the young season.

Senior Oliver Akintade (Lake Forest, Il./Lake Forest HS) converted a penalty kick in the 17^th minute. The goal provided the only scoring of the contest as the Knights kept Wilmington off the board in recording their fourth straight shutout of the season.

Senior Daniel Wunder (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian HS) went the distance in goal, recording four saves in posting his fourth shutout victory of the season.

The victory caps a busy early-season stretch that saw the Knights go 5-for-5 in winning five matches in an eight-day span.

Calvin returns to action next Tuesday when it hosts Holy Cross College (Ind.) at 7 p.m. at Zuidema Field.
