COACH'S COMMENT: "We wanted to carry the theme from last week of using the setting and low stress situations to be aggressive and kind of figure some things out," Calvin head coach
Dan Gelderloos said. "It was a middle of the pack kind of meet for our depth so we tried to make sure the people who are lucky enough to be in the top tier and race in the limelight could clear the way for them to get some big races in. I think we did a pretty good job of that and kept the integrity of the meet and came away with some good work.
"Next week is a big meet for us. That's always kind of a 'starred' meet for us to gauge where we are at this point in the season before we put the finishing touches on what we can do at the December invite."
NEXT UP: Calvin swimming and diving returns to action Friday, November 3, when it hosts Albion, Carthage and Ohio Northern in a quad meet at Venema Aquatic Center.
