COACHES COMMENT: "Today our energy was excellent from the pitch until the last pitch," said Calvin head softball coach Becky Hilgert. "Yesterday I thought we had one of our best practices of the season and we transitioned a lot of what we worked on to today's games. Offensively we stayed aggressive on the bases and our hitters did a good job moving runners with productive at bats. Our pitching staff was very efficient and effective. Our defensive played error free behind them Overall it was a good road trip to pick up two team wins."
NEXT UP: Calvin will travel to Adrian on Thursday for a conference doubleheader scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
