Calvin's win on Wednesday gave the Knights a regular-season sweep over the
Hornets and a tie-breaker edge for seeding purposes for the upcoming MIAA
Tournament.

senior Melissa Pell (Fremont HS) pounded out 10 kills along with two blocks
while sophomore Kara Kuipers (Unity Christian HS) collected 10 kills, six blocks
and two service aces including a match-ending ace in game three with the score
29-28 in favor of Calvin. Six of the blocks by Kuipers were solos.
