ALMA, Mich. - The Calvin swimming & diving team improved to 3-3 on the year and 2-0 in the MIAA with a 161-58 victory over Alma on Saturday. The Knights finished first in 12 of the 13 events.
The Knights started the day winning the 200-yard medley relay with the team of freshman Abbey Wellmen, sophomore Elysa Wolf, junior Rachel Alexander and senior Nicole Karl at 2:02.80.
Freshman Libby Engle won the 1000-yard freestyle at 11:54.58.
Freshman Audrey Brinks touched the wall first in the 200-yard freestyle at 2:09.49.
Elysa Wolf notched victories in the 50-yard freestyle at 26.46 and in the 100-yard freestyle at 57.19.
In the 200-yard IM, sophomore Kara Komarek finished first at 2:27.50. She also won the 100-yard butterfly at 1:09.10.
Senior Hillary Glover won both diving events, winning the 1-meter at 247.60 and the 3-meter at 232.33.
In the 100-yard backstroke, Abbey Wellmen walked away the winner at 1:05.63.
The Knights finished the day winning the 400-yard freestyle relay at 3:258.749.97.
Calvin returns to action at Dec. 1 at the Calvin Invite.
