Box Score NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The No. 16 Knights won their fourth-straight match on Saturday evening at North Central College, 4-1. Calvin improves to 4-0-1 on the year. The Knights have now outscored their opponents 22-2 in 2015.
Senior Nick Groenwold (Oak Brook, Ill./Timothy Christian HS) got the Knights on the board first with a goal in the 17th minute from junior Stephan Hooker (Hudsonville, Mich./Unity Christian HS).
Stephan Hooker got a goal of his own in the 31st minute with an assist from sophomore Matt Hinds (Frankenmuth, Mich./Frankenmuth HS).
Sophomore Mitch Stark (South Lyon, Mich./South Lyon HS) picked up a pair of goals on the night. Stark struck first in the 54th minute off of a breakaway from the right side. He struck again two minutes later hitting the inside of the left pole.
Even Landmark notched North Central's lone goal in the 71st minute.
The Knights return to action on Wednesday as they host Trine at 4 p.m. at Zuidema Field.
