GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Calvin men's basketball team fell to Grace Bible on Tuesday night. The Tigers trumped the Knight, 92-88. The loss moves Calvin to 4-4 on the year and improves Grace Bible to 10-4.

 "That is on me, we didn't play with enough passion tonight," said head coach Kevin Vande Streek. "The game normally comes down to turnovers and layups, bottom line is we didn't guard and you can't win giving up 92 points. We are going to keep working and we have a lot of games left to play."

The two teams found themselves tied at 11 before the Knights broke the game open. Calvin would go on an 8-1 run behind three-point baskets from junior Nate Drews (Rochester Hills, Mich./Rochester Hills Lutheran) and sophomore Tony Canonie (South Haven, Mich./South Haven).

The Tigers would continue to chip at the lead and even cut the Calvin lead to one.  Senior Jordan Daley (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian) sank a basket before the first half ended to give Calvin a 44-41 lead at halftime.

The Tigers jumped out to an early 5-0 run to take a 46-44 lead. The two teams would go on to exchange blows, including three-straight three-point baskets for the Knights. With the game tied at 87, Jordan Daley put the Knight up one before Connor Crawford gave Grace the lead at 89-88. The Tigers would make their free throws to put the game away.

Calvin had four players with double-digit points on Tuesday. Jordan Daley led the Knights in scoring tonight with 19 points. Nate Drews had 16, sophomore Mike Siegel (Fremont, Mich./Fremont) finished with 15 and Tony Canonie with 12.

Sophomore Michael Wilks (Hudsonville, Mich./Unity Christian) had a team-high seven rebounds and five assists.

Calvin beat the Tigers on the boards, 36-33.

The Knights will return to action on Saturday, Dec. 19 at Anderson.
