ANGOLA, IN - The top-ranked Calvin women's volleyball team remained undefeated on the year and improved to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the MIAA with a 25-21, 25-20, 25-17 victory at Trine University Friday night.

Calvin hit .304 as a team led by junior Maggie Kamp (Orland Park, IL/Chicago Christian HS) with 16 kills and a .357 hitting percentage. Sophomore Laura Danhoff (Willard, OH/Willard HS) had nine kills, two service aces and a pair of block assists. Danhoff also hit at a .444 clip.

Senior Ellie Diepersloot (Madera, CA/Chowchilla HS) chipped in with seven kills.

Senior libero Elise Biesboer (Elmhurst, IL/Timothy Christian HS) had 14 digs to go with one service ace while freshman setter Jenna Lodewyk (Villa Park, IL/Timothy Christian HS) had 33 assists, nine digs and three kills.

Calvin will now prepare for a pair of non-conference matches on Saturday in Bloomington, Illinois. Calvin will face 21st-ranked Coe College at 1 p.m. (EDT) on Saturday at a tournament hosted by Illinois Wesleyan. The Knights will then take on the host Titans immediately after.
