  • As a Collegiate Athlete at Davenport University (2014-18), Katon was a standout thrower for the Panthers. Katon earned All-Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) recognition in the Men’s Weight and Hammer Throws, while qualifying for both the 2017 NAIA Indoor and Outdoor National Championships. Katon graduated from Davenport with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management in 2018. He earned his MBA from Davenport in 2020.
  • Katon is a native of Chelsea, Mich. He, his wife Jenna, and daughter Nora, reside in Byron Center.
