Why Calvin? My faith and trust in God has lead me to Calvin and it is seen and made itself evident in all aspects of my life at Calvin University, as a student athlete, a student, and in my time outside of both areas. I wanted to grow and strengthen my faith and continue to make it an integral part of my life past my undergraduate and high school chapters of my life, and what better place to do that than at Calvin!

Faith Journey: Being a graduate student, participating in collegiate athletics for one final year with my leftover collegiate eligibility from the Covid-19 Pandemic for such storied and talented programs, with its coaches, athletes, and fans reinforcing and encouraging us to be our best selves inside and outside the sport is amazing and truly a blessing that I am thankful for every day, since I have started my journey here. God is so good and it is clearly evident in everything he has brought me since being at Calvin, since starting my career at the collegiate level in undergrad, and in all the other countless blessings, opportunities, and memories he has brought into my life.
