The Calvin University women's soccer team has received the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award.
 
Calvin finished the 2025-26 academic year with a team grade point average (GPA) of a 3.48, well above the award's 3.0 GPA minimum to qualify. This marks the 12th time in the last 13 seasons the Knights have won the Team Academic Award from the organization.
 
Under head coach Emily Ottenhoff the Knights had another momentous season on the field in 2025, winning their sixth consecutive MIAA regular season championship and finishing with an 16-5-0 record overall and 8-0 in the MIAA.
 
After winning the MIAA Tournament, Calvin reached the Round of 16 of the 2025 NCAA Women's Soccer Championships before falling to Messiah. Calvin defeated Penn State-Behrend and Illinois Institute of Technology in earlier rounds of the NCAA III Tournament.
 
Calvin is one of 451 women's soccer programs across all divisions to earn the Team Academic Award, and one of 175 schools to earn the award for both the men's and women's soccer programs.
