MINOT, ND.- The Calvin ACHA D1 Hockey team was swept in a weekend double header against the No. 1 ranked team in the country, Minot State University.
The Knights lost 5-0 Friday, and 5-1 on Saturday.
Ranked ninth nationally, Calvin is now 18-7-2 following its last set of games of the regular season.
Calvin will head into this week's GL6 conference tournament as the No. 2 seed.
Colby Joseph scored a pair of Goals for the Beavers, while Logan Cyca, Jay Buchholz and Jeremy Dewar also scored in the 5-0 victory.
In game 2, Calvin's
Marshall Beaker scored on a power play early in the 1st period with an assist from
Krzyzstof Petryla. That was all the Knights had going for them in game two as Minot Scored the next 5 goals of the game. Matt Egan, Jay Buchholz, Colby Joseph, Joey Moffatt, and Slade Stanick all scored for the Beavers.

NEXT UP: Calvin will go into the Great Lakes 6 conference tournament as the No. 2 seed and face Roosevelt University on Tuesday February 17th, at 5:30 p.m.
