COACHES COMMENTS: "We went into this race projected 30th of 36, and finished 19th," said head coach
Nicole Kramer. "To be in the top 20 of the Prenationals meet speaks volumes on how far this team has stepped into their own. We've been making incremental progress since the end of last fall. Today these men took a leap of faith, and it stuck. The fast start propelled our guys to fight through each kilometer, hill and turn they faced with many of the top teams in DIII. It's great to see the growth this team has made. We can't wait to do it again in two weeks for our next test."Â
UP NEXT: The Knights will be back in action on Saturday, October 17th when they travel to Rock Island, Illinois to compete in a meet hosted by Augustana College.
