CSCAA D3 TOP 25 POLL - 1-23-26
The Calvin University women's swimming and diving team continues to hold a spot in the national polls. The Knights are ranked 18th in the latest (January) Division III Top 25 poll conducted by the College Swim Coaches Association (CSCAA). The poll was released earlier this afternoon
The Knights were ranked 19th in the first poll of the season in mid-October and moved up to No. 17 in the November poll and the moved to No. 14 in the December poll.
Under the direction of head coachÂ
Dan Gelderloos, Calvin has competed in eight competitions this season, including a dual meet win over Wheaton College on Saturday, November 8 and a dual meet win over NCAA Division II Wayne State on January 9. The Knights also took first place in the two-day Calvin Quad Meet against Ohio Northern University, Albion College and Carthage College on October 31-November 1.
Calvin capped off its first semester campaign December 3-5 at its own Calvin Winter Invitational. At the three-day competition, Calvin placed fourth while competing in a field of ranked Division II opponents.
The Knights opened second semester competition with a 128.5-111.5 dual meet win over Wayne State on January 9 before falling at (Division III) No. 6 University of Chicago 176-124 last Saturday.
Calvin returns to action this Saturday when it hosts an MIAA Invitational at 11:30 a.m. inside the Venema Aquatic Center.
