LIVONIA, Mich. – Calvin fell 7-4 at Schoolcraft College Saturday afternoon in its regular season finale. Ranked eighth in the latest ACHA D3 national rankings, Calvin is now 16-5-3 overall heading into conference tournament action this weekend.
An ACHA Division II member institution, Schoolcraft (22-6-0) spotted Calvin a 3-1 lead after one period of play but stormed back with four goals in the second period to build a 5-4 lead. Schoolcraft added pair of goals in the third period including an empty net tally in the closing minutes to seal the win.

Christopher Bebelos scored early in the second period to close out Calvin's scoring.

COACHES COMMENT: "We've had a really good regular season," said Calvin head coach Austin Huizenga. "Our conference tournament starts next weekend, and we're excited to see what we can accomplish in the games ahead!"
NEXT UP: Calvin will open Midwest College Hockey Conference Tournament play on Friday night against Ferris State University at 7:30 p.m. at Patterson Ice Center.
