Six members of the Calvin women's soccer team have received College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors. The six individuals to receive the honor include seniors
Liz Williams,
Mia Judd,
Kalex Dodge and
Elie Farrell and juniors
Katherine Bergman and
Mikaela Waroway.
Williams and Judd have both advanced to the national ballot and are now eligible for CSC Academic All-America consideration.
To receive CSC Academic All-District accolades, individuals needed to have maintained a cumulative 3.50 grade point average or higher, completed two full semesters at the institution and appeared in either 90 percent of the current season's games or started in 66 percent of the season's contests.
LIZ WILLIAMS (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian HS)
A graduate student, Williams is receiving CSC Academic All-District honors for the fourth time. A midfielder, she was named to the All-MIAA First Team for the fourth time in her career this fall. As an undergraduate, she has majored in psychology and is now enrolled in Calvin's Master's program in exercise science. This fall, she tallied four goals, 10 assists and 18 points. She is now seventh on the Calvin career scoring list with 110 points. She has 34 goals and 42 assists in her career. She has been a part of six MIAA regular season championship teams including five that have reached the NCAA III Tournament.
MIA JUDD (Grand Ledge, Mich./Lansing Christian HS)
A senior midfielder, Judd is receiving CSC Academic All-District honors for the third straight year. She has been a six-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and a three-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. Judd is a nursing major. A box-to-back midfielder, Judd was named the MIAA's Most Valuable Player this year for the second consecutive season. She scored five goals and picked up one assist for a total of 11 points. She has been a part of four MIAA regular season championship teams as well as four NCAA III Tournament teams.
KALEX DODGE (Jackson, Mich./Leslie HS)
A goalkeeper, Dodge is receiving CSC Academic All-District honors for the second time in three years. She has been a regular member of the Calvin Dean's List and MIAA Academic Honor Roll. She is a mechanical engineering major. Dodge was a Second Team All-MIAA selection this fall, recording a goals-against-average of 0.81 along with 91 saves and four shutouts. She was 56-11-5 during her career with 31 shutouts and 267 saves. She is Calvin's career leader in victories, is third in saves and shutouts. She has been a part of four MIAA regular season championship teams as well as four NCAA III Tournament teams.
ELI FARRELL (Wheaton, Il./Wheaton Warrenville South HS)
A winger, Farrell is making her second straight appearance on the CSC Academic All-District list. She holds a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average while majoring in education. She was named to the MIAA Academic Elite list this past summer. She is a three-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and a six-time member of the Calvin Dean's List. She was a member of the 2024 All-MIAA Second Team. She has career totals of 15 goals, 14 assists and 44 points. She has been a part of four MIAA regular season championship teams as well as four NCAA III Tournament teams.
KATHERINE BERGMAN (Farmington Hills, Mich./Farmington HS)
An outside back on defense, Bergsma is receiving CSC Academic All-District honors for the first time. A mechanical engineering major, Bergman has been a two-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and a four-time member of the Calvin Dean's List. On defense, she helped Calvin post eight shutouts this fall. She started in 18 of Calvin's 21 games this fall, recording a goal, an assist and three points. She has been a part of three MIAA regular season championship teams as well as three NCAA III Tournament teams.
MIKAELA WAROWAY (Ann Arbor, Mich./Father Gabriel Richard HS)
A midfielder, Waroway is receiving CSC Academic All-District honors for the second straight year. She is a psychology major. She is a four-time member of the Calvin Deans List and a two-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. She was a First Team All-MIAA selection this fall. She led Calvin in scoring with 27 points on the strength of 11 goals and five assists. She scored six game-winning goals including the game-winning goal in a 2-1 overtime victory over Illinois Tech in the second round of the 2025 NCAA III Tournament. She also assisted on Calvin's game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over rival Hope in the 2025 MIAA Tournament final. She has been a part of three MIAA regular season championship teams as well as three NCAA III Tournament teams.
