COACHES COMMENT: Head Coach Josh Petrusma "We battled really hard tonight in all phases of the game. I was happy with our effort and our commitment to our structure. Liberty is a quality team and this was a great test for us. The lessons we learned tonight are why we have such a difficult schedule. We want to carry those forward and build throughout the year. It doesn't get any easier with our matchup tomorrow against Maryville. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to learn and grow as a team."

Calvin then met host Maryville on Saturday and fell 4-3 in overtime. Maryville was ranked 10th in the country. Calvin is now 7-5-0 on the season and returns to action on December 5 when it hosts rival Hope in the opening game of the Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame Classic.
