GRAND RAPIDS, MICH.- The Calvin Knights D3 hockey team had a dominant win over the visiting Davenport University Panthers. The Knights won 16-0 and improved to 12-4-3 on the season. Calvin is ranked 8th in the country.

Calvin scored three goals in the 1st period from
Nathan Sova,
Harry Ottsen, and
Brock Hearth. Calvin had 32 shots on goal in the period while Davenport had two.

The 2nd period was a shooting clinic for the Knights, with eight goals scored by eight different Knights. Calvin had 29 shots on goal in the period while Davenport had three.

Calvin scored five more in the 3rd period to go up 16 on the Panthers. Calvin put up 26 shots on goal in the 3rd period while Davenport had just a single shot on goal. Calvin had a total of 87 shots while Davenport had 6.
NEXT UP: Calvin will play at Davenport on Saturday February 1st at 6:30pm. The game will be in Grand Rapids.
