GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Calvin completed a weekend sweep of the Cleary University Cougars on Saturday night, winning the return matchup 9-1 at Eagles Ice Arena.
The victory came 24 hours after an impressive 5-0 win at Cleary Friday night.
Calvin scored early and often in Saturday's win.

Cleary got a goal back in the opening minute of the third period but Calvin responded with third period tallies from junior

Adam Yost collected 23 saves to earn the win in nets for the Knights. Calvin outshot Cleary 50-24.
COACHES COMMENT: "We played a good game tonight!" said Calvin head hockey coach
Mike Petrusma. "We had nine different scorers in this win and
Adam Yost was terrific in net. We look forward to a series with UM-Dearborn in two weeks."
NEXT UP: Calvin returns to action on October 3 when it hosts Michigan-Dearborn at 6 p.m. before returning to Dearborn the following evening to complete the two-game set.
