COACHES COMMENT: "I give Hope credit for putting together a good game plan and executing that game plan to get the win. They are a very good team. We talked at halftime about doing a better job of finishing drives and I thought we did a much better job of that in the second half. We didn't win on the scoreboard but there are a lot of positives to take from this game. Overall I'm just very proud of the way our team battled. All the credit to our guys for going up against a nationally-ranked team and not backing down. It was great for our players to get a taste of this rivalry after watching it take place in so many other sports over the last year. Now that they have gotten a taste of it, the rivalry will continue to build."
NEXT UP: Calvin will conclude its season next Saturday against Albion when the Knights host the Britons at 1 p.m. at Eagles Stadium.
