GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- Calvin took the 2nd half of its double header against Grand Valley State University winning 5-0 at home after losing the opener 4-2 Friday night at GVSU. Calvin is now 7-1.

Chris Bebelos got the Knights started scoring in the 7th minute of the game with assists from
Myles Radersma and
Owen Duiker.
Harry Ottsen scored Calvins 2nd of the game in the 16th minute of the 1st period. He was assisted by
Oleg Grishatov. Calvin had 14 shots on goal in the 1st while GVSU had 7.

Calvin scored another pair of goals in the 2nd period. In the 13th minute
Nathan Rublein scored from Josh VanSchepen and
Drew Klomparens. In the final minute of the period
Nathan Sova scored unassisted to put the Knights in front 4-0. Both Calvin and GVSU had 11 shots on goal in the 2nd period.Â

In the 9th minute of the 3rd period
Drew Klomparens scored Calvin's final goal of the game off an assist from Josh VanSchepen. Calvin had 8 shots on goal in the 3rd period while GVSU had 10.Â

Keeping a clean sheet in goal for the Knights was Garret Walker with 28 saves and 0 goals allowed. Grand Valleys goalie was Ryan Price with 28 saves and 5 goals allowed.
