MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – The Calvin ACHA D3 hockey team dropped a 5-1 decision to Grand Valley State on day two of pool play action at the ACHA Division III National Tournament on Friday.
Calvin (16-13) trailed 2-0 after one period and 3-0 after two periods.

Grand Valley answered with a goal minutes later to go back up 5-1 and seal the win.
The Knights are now officially eliminated from advancing out of pool play but will play one more game in pool play action, facing Purdue at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday.
