GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Calvin men's soccer team capped off an unbeaten MIAA regular season with a 10-1 victory over The University of Olivet Wednesday evening at Zuidema Field.
Ranked 12
th nationally and No. 1 in its respective Division III region (VIII), Calvin improves to 14-2-1 overall and closes out MIAA regular season play at 7-0-0, capturing its 17
th consecutive MIAA title.
The Knights are the top seed for the upcoming MIAA Tournament and will host a semifinal round game next Wednesday (November 1) at 7 p.m. at Zuidema Field.
The Knights finished MIAA regular season play by outscoring their league opponents 38-3, setting a new MIAA record for goals scored in league play in a seven-game single-round robin conference schedule. Calvin's total of 38 goals breaks the previous record set by Calvin in 2018 when it outscored league opponents 37-2.
Calvin led 6-1 at halftime and added four more in the second half.

Colin Iverson (Naperville, Il./Naperville North HS) led the way by netting his first collegiate hat trick.
Junior
Ethan Brown (Muskegon, Mich./Mona Shores HS) scored a pair of goals. Seniors

To be able to represent the school and extend this streak is not something we take for granted. It was nice to be able to celebrate at home tonight and do so in front of our fans.
