ANGOLA, Ind.- The Calvin ACHA Division 3 men's hockey team took down Trine University 6-0 on Saturday afternoon. Calvin Moves to 4-2 on the year.
Zach Seaman was the first to score for the Knights. He scored with 10:11 left in the first period and was unassisted. Despite the Knights having 16 shots on goal they only managed to light the lamp a single time in the first period.
Calvin added three more goals to its one-goal lead in the 1st period to put itself up 4-0 at the end of the 2nd period.
Myles Radersma, Gabe Sova, and
Sergey Yakunin were the Knights who put the puck in the back of the net in the 2nd.
The Knights increased their lead to 6 in the 3rd period.
Owen Duiker scored with 12:01 left in the game and was assisted by Tommy Postal.
Sergey Yakunin scored his 2nd of the game with just 5 seconds left to top off Calvin's 6-0 victory over Trine.
