The Calvin University Knights ACHA D3 Hockey Team fell to the Grand Valley State University Lakers 6-0 on Saturday night.

In the first period the Knights got caught completely off guard by the pressure from the Lakers in the first frame. The Lakers went on to score 3 unanswered goals in the frame. 

At the end of the first the Knights were down 3-0. The Knights were outshot 22-9. 

In the second period the Lakers added two more goals to their totally to extend their lead to 5-0. The Knights tried to fight back but couldn't find any momentum. 

At the end of the second period the Knights were trailing to the Lakers 5-0. The Knights were outshot 18-5.

In the third period the Lakers sealed the deal with another goal to put the Knights away. 

At the end of regulation the Lakers came out victorious over the Knights 6-0. The Knights were outshot 56-18.

Knights Goaltender Garrett Walker finished the game with 50 saves.
