The Calvin University Knights ACHA D1 Hockey Team fell to the Davenport University Panthers 4-2 on Saturday night.

In the first period the Panthers got on the board first with about seven minutes to go in the frame. The Knights found the equalizer from Jacob Siebenga with the assists from Josh Ernst and Ian Elkins. 

At the end of the first period the Knights were tied with the Panthers 1-1. The Knights outshot the Panthers 11-6.

In the second period the Knights took the lead with five minutes to go in the frame with a goal from Kyle VanDusen. Just two minutes later the Panthers tied the game back up at 2-2. 

At the end of the second period the Knights were tied with the Panthers 2-2. The Knights outshot the Panthers 9-6. 

In the third period the Panthers pulled away from the Knights scoring two unanswered goals to put the Knights away. 

At the end of regulation the Panthers came out victorious over the Knights 4-2. The Knights outshot the Panthers 29-14 for the game. 

Knights Goaltender Liam Austin finsihed with 10 saves on the night.
