The Calvin University Knights ACHA D3 Hockey Team fell to the Ferris State Bulldogs 4-0 on Friday night.

In the first period both teams battled back and forth and went end to end with solid chances. Unfortunately, neither team could find the back of the net. 

In the second period the Bulldogs put two up on the board. The Knights battled back hard but could not find a breakthrough. 

In the third period the Bulldogs tallied two more goals to take a 4-0 lead over the Knights. The Knights did their best to get back in the game but could not find a way throught the Bulldogs defense. 

At the end of regulation the Bulldogs came out on top over the Knights 4-0. 

COACH HARTLEIN: "The Calvin Knights hit the ice ranked #11 in the country on the road vs. Ferris State University, after ending the first 0-0 the Knights struggled to find their offense and intensity. We created many good scoring opportunities but just could not find the back of the net. The boys competed until the final buzzer but came up short losing 4-0 to a league opponent."
