The Calvin University Knights ACHA D3 Hockey Team fell to the Ferris State University Bulldogs 8-0 on Saturday night. 

In the first period both teams came out strong going back and forth with good chances in front of goal. Around the halfway point of the period the Bulldogs opened the scoring and took the 1-0 lead. The Knights fought back hard in the second half of the frame but could not find the back of the net. 

The first period concluded with the Bulldogs leading 1-0. 

In the second period the Bulldogs began to run away with the game scoring four unanswered goals. The Knights once again fought back but were shut down by the Bulldogs defense. 

The second period concluded with the Bulldogs leading 5-0. 

In the third period the Bulldogs sealed the game with three more unanswered goals. 

The game concluded with the Bulldogs coming out victorious over the Knights 8-0. 

Knights Goaltenders Liam Austin and Ryan Rapata combined for 37 saves on the night.
