The Calvin University Knights ACHA D3 Hockey Team fell to the Ferris State University Bulldogs 4-1 on Wednesday night. 

In the first period both teams came out strong looking to find the early breakthrough. With eight minutes gone in the period the Bulldogs found the first goal of the game. The Knights pushed back hard for the rest of the period, but could not find the back of the net. 

The first period concluded with the Knights trailing 1-0. 

In the second period the game began to open up. The Knights tied the game around the thirteenth minute mark of the period. The goal came from Zach Malkowski with the assist from Hayden Heys. The Knights equalizer was followed up by three unanswered goals by the Bulldogs. 

The second period concluded with the Bulldogs leading the Knights 4-1. 

In the third period the game went back and forth between both teams, but neither of them could find the back of the net. 

The game concluded with the Bulldogs coming out victorious over the Knights 4-1.
