The Calvin University Knights D3 Hockey Team fell to the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils 7-3 on Saturday night.

In the first period the Blue Devils really took charge scoring five unanswered goals. The Knights pushed back hard but could not get on the board. 

The first period concluded with the Blue Devils leading 5-0. 

In the second period the Blue Devils added another tally to their lead with a goal just five minutes into the period. About four minutes later the Knights got on the board with a goal from Andre Kilpela with the assist from Luis Mendoza. About thirty seconds later the Blue Devils got the goal back and extended their lead to 7-1. With six minutes to go in the period the Knights got a goal from Luis Mendoza with the assist from Brandon Turcotte. 

The second period concluded with the Blue Devils leading the Knights 7-2. 

In the third period the Knights got the only goal coming from Jake Oakes with the assists from Mitchell Niesar and Hayden Heys. 

The game concluded with a Blue Devils victory over the Knights 7-3.

Knights Goaltender Liam Austin had 6 saves on the night. 

Knights Goaltender Sam Ydenberg had 14 saves on the night.
