Jacob Reisner, DO, is a board-eligible physician specializing in non-operative sports medicine.
Dr. Reisner earned his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his transitional year internship at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and his sports medicine fellowship at Mayo Clinic Square in Minneapolis and served as an assistant team physician for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Lynx, United States Ski and Snowboard Association, James Sewell Ballet and North Central University.
His clinical interests include caring for athletes and active individuals of all ages with injuries and impairments limiting their function. Specifically, he has an interest in non-operative treatment of osteoarthritis, tendon and soft tissue injuries, diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, regenerative medicine treatments, exertional leg pain, and sports-related concussions.
