·       Began his time as an assistant coach at Calvin for track and field in 2025

·       Graduated Calvin in the spring of 2023 with a therapeutic recreation and psychology degree

·       Participated as a thrower on the Calvin track and field team

·       Outside of coaching, Martinez Vasquez works as a recreational therapist at Pine Rest working with adolescents in a secured facility.

·       Hailing from Chicago, Illinois he enjoys lifting, pickleball, and disc golf in his free time
