FLINT, Mich. – The eighth-ranked Calvin ACHA D3 hockey team rolled to a 9-3 victory at UM-Flint Saturday night to complete a weekend sweep. The Knights are now 15-4-3 on the season.
Calvin led 2-0 after one period of play, 7-1 after two periods and then traded goals with the opposition in the final period.
Myles Radersma had a big game for the Knights with two goals and three assists.
Christopher Bebelos had two goals.
Owen Duiker had a goal and two assists.
Ian Schweigert had a goal and three assists.
Nathan Sova had Calvin's first goal of the game. Also scoring a goal were
Hayden Fernhout and
Tomas Postal.
Luke Afman had a pair of assists.
Cam Svboda and
Drew Klomparens also both had an assist.
Ryan Woroz got the start in goal for Calvin.
The Knights return to action on February 21 when they host Schoolcraft College at 7:30 p.m. at Eagles Ice Center.
