The Calvin University Knights ACHA D3 Hockey Team defeated the Michigan State Spartans 3-0 on Friday night.

The Knights took an early one goal lead to start the first period. The Knights defense held very strong in the first and kept the Spartans off the board. 

The Knights continued the pressure in the second period and added another goal to their tally. 

Finally, in the third period the Knights sealed the deal with their third goal of the contest. 

The Spartans gave the Knights one last charge but the Knights shut the door on their attempt. 

At the end of regulation the Knights came out on top 3-0 over the Spartans.

Knights Goaltender Garrett Walker came out with the win.
