The Calvin University Knights ACHA D3 Hockey Team defeated the Western Michigan Broncos 2-0 on Friday night.

In the first period the Knights put the pressure on the Broncos early and quickly got the momentum of the game. With about two minutes to go in the frame the Knights found the back of the net with a goal from Zach Seaman with the assist from Ethan Tulp.

At the end of the first period the Knights were leading 1-0. The Knights outshot the Broncos 13-6.

In the second period the Knights extended their lead to two goals. This time the goal came from Keegan Oberski with the assisst from Tanner Dey. 

After the second period the Knights were leading 2-0. The Knights outshot the Broncos 12-4.

In the third period both teams went end to end but neither team could find the back of the net.

At the end of regulation the Knights came out victorious against the Broncos 2-0. The Knights outshot the Broncos 33-17.

Knights Goaltender Garrett Walker finished the game with 17 saves and the shutout victory.
